ABOUT ME

I am a physiologist, science communicator, researcher and health and wellness consultant, who is enthusiastic about how science can impact positively on life. I earned my Physiology Ph.D. in 2007, I have taught undergraduate students, and subsequently I completed my Postdoc, designing and conducting research in the area of human physiology and publishing work in peer reviewed Journals.

 

My keen interest in science communication and health, led me to earn different qualifications including, a Postgraduate Qualification in Communication and Learning, a Bachelor of Applied Science, Exercise Physiology and Sport Science, a Certificated in Nutrition, and various other qualifications in the area of exercise therapy, nutrition, health and wellbeing.

 

I have worked in numerous contexts, ranging from Head of Physiology and Science, to Science Communicator and Health Consultant. I have outstanding project management skills, gained through many years of designing and orchestrating my research and implementation program. I created and led various projects both independently and in cooperation with others. 

 

In the area of science communication, I created a wide range of resources, including videos, articles, white papers, social media content, infographics, data visualization and information design. I create these resources for colleges, institutions, and businesses, and are designed for the specific needs.

Throughout my career I have amalgamated various disciplines, including scientific research, physiology, exercise therapy, nutrition, electrotherapy, orthomolecular medicine and science communication to support health and prevent diseases.

I am Fluent in English and Italian, with good knowledge of French and basic Spanish and Polish. I am organized with excellent time keeping and multitasking abilities to manage projects, and able to work efficiently both as a team member and independently.
