As a forward-thinking and results-driven physiologist, I bring a well-rounded background spanning academia, research, and industry. My diverse experience has equipped me with in-depth scientific knowledge and a broad skill set. I am highly skilled in science communication, including writing research publications, developing educational content, and delivering presentations at both national and international forums. My strong foundation in science is complemented by both technical precision and creative insight. I have a proven track record of leadership in project management, successfully guiding projects from initial concept through to completion. I thrive in collaborative environments and am equally capable of working independently to meet objectives.

My academic journey began with a PhD in Integrative Physiology, followed by research and lecturing roles at Brunel University. Since then, I’ve led scientific and educational initiatives in the health tech industry, most recently as Head of Physiology and Science at NuroKor, where I focused on advancing the use of bioelectronic medicine. I also work as a freelance consultant and science communicator, creating educational content, publications, and presentations for a wide range of audiences—from students and clinicians to the general public. Fluent in multiple languages and experienced in both independent and team-based projects, I bring creativity, clarity, and scientific integrity to everything I do.

Beyond my academic and professional background, I am also an inventor passionate about advancing fitness, performance, and health. I recently filed a patent application for an innovative fitness machine designed to enhance the comfort and effectiveness of resistance training while minimizing injury risk. In addition to this invention, I have developed several other original concepts in the areas of fitness, health, and performance that I am eager to bring to market.

Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of working with a wide range of institutions, companies and individuals to design, develop and deliver numerous projects. Due to various constraints, most of the resources produced during these projects are not publicly shareable. However, below are links to some materials I’ve created — some of which were developed in my spare time.

PHYSIOLOGY & INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE

Physiology & Integrative Medicine
Physiology & Integrative Medicine

Physiology and Integrative Medicine together form a holistic approach to understanding and optimizing human health. Physiology explores how the body’s systems function individually and interactively, from cellular processes to organ systems, providing a scientific foundation for medical practice. Integrative Medicine builds upon this by combining conventional medical treatments with evidence-based complementary therapies to treat the whole person, not just symptoms. This synergy promotes personalized care that supports both physical and mental well-being.

SPORT & PERFORMANCE NUTRITION

Sport & Performance Nutrition
Sport & Performance Nutrition

Sport and Performance Nutrition is a specialized area of nutrition that focuses on optimizing an athlete's diet to enhance physical performance, support training, and promote recovery. It involves tailoring nutrient intake—such as carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and hydration—based on the type, intensity, and duration of physical activity. This field helps athletes improve endurance, strength, and focus, while also reducing the risk of injury and fatigue. By aligning nutrition with training goals, sport and performance nutrition plays a vital role in maximizing athletic potential and achieving competitive success.

ORTHOMOLECULAR MEDICINE

Orthomolecular Medicine
Orthomolecular Medicine

Orthomolecular medicine is a form of alternative therapy that focuses on maintaining health and treating disease by optimizing the concentrations of naturally occurring substances in the body, such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other essential nutrients. The central idea is that imbalances or deficiencies in these nutrients can lead to illness, and that restoring optimal levels—often through high-dose supplementation—can support the body’s natural healing processes. This approach was popularized by Nobel laureate Linus Pauling, who believed that biochemical individuality meant each person requires different nutrient levels for optimal health.

ALLOPATHIC MEDICINE

Allopathic Medicine
Allopathic Medicine

Allopathic medicine, also known as conventional or Western medicine, is a widely practised system of healthcare. It focuses on diagnosing and treating diseases primarily through pharmaceuticals and surgery. The term "allopathic" was originally coined in the 19th century to distinguish this approach from homeopathy. Allopathic medicine is effective in acute care, however, it is generally combined with other interventions such as nutrition, exercise therapy and a healthy lifestyle for treating and preventing chronic conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, metabolic dysfunction, obesity, and degenerative and inflammatory diseases.

ELECTROMEDICINE

Electromedicine
Electromedicine

Electrotherapy is a medical treatment that uses controlled electrical currents to stimulate nerves, muscles and other tissues for therapeutic purposes. It is commonly used in physical therapy to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, promote healing, and improve muscle strength and function. Techniques such as Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS), and Microcurrent are popular forms of electrotherapy. By targeting specific areas of the body, electrotherapy can enhance circulation, support recovery from injury, and assist in rehabilitation without the need for medication or invasive procedures.
